ThermoWood is produced by heat-treating Finnish grown pine and spruce to temperatures in excess of 200 degrees. During this heat treatment, chemical and structural changes occur within the timber which alters and improve the basic characteristics of the wood, making it more stable. ThermoWood’s high resistance to moisture and decay makes it an excellent material for use as cladding or in exposed areas.
